TOM ENGLUND

Tom Englund is the singer and guitar player of the Swedish dark/prog metal band, Evergrey. Evergrey is one of the favorites of many Dreamtone & Iris Mavraki’s Neverland band members and so, when it came to ask for guest appearances, having Tom Englund and his unique voice on the list was unquestionable.

Tom has also handled the mixing of “Reversing Time”, together with his collegues at Division One Studios. He appears as a guest on the song “World Beyond These Walls”, telling the shape of world through a beggar boy’s eyes.

- "Neverland" is a world of fantasy, where children don't grow up and where good and happy endings are numerous. How can you describe your own Neverland?
I would say I am living a small part of that Neverland right now . I am working with what I love ,With people I love and have the most respect for. I have a great
Family and live in a nice place .Its not much more than that you could ask for .

- Could you describe the beauty of music, the beauty it reflects in your very own mind?
Music for me is motion,sadness, happiness, energy darkness, hope all of that gathered in a bottle of fantastic perfume where you can choose the flavour of your choice every day.

- What was the thing that you liked most about "Reversing Time"?
The diversity of the sounds and songs and of course the level of ambitions with all of the orchestral work and different vocalists.

- You were also one of the mixing engineers of this project Tom, how was it to work on the technical side of things, besides singing on a song?
Well working on the technical / production side of things is what I do on the side of Evergrey , so whenever I have the time I love to do all kinds of projects the will widen my experience of music.

- If you were playing your very own tunes with a symphony orchestra to accompany you, what would be the theme of the song that you play, and how would it sound?
Since evergrey worked with a lot of parts of symphonic orchestras on several albums and the DVD I think the most fair way to answer that is that you all check it out for yourself ! Thanks for listening .
